Tests carried out in SweetDream: |
Bounding Test
Bounding test – the elasticity of comfort layer is determined by using a ball rebound tester. |
| |
Tear Resistance Test
Tear resistance test – this machine determines the ability of the mattress comfort layer to withstand tearing. |
| |
Stress Resistance Test
Hardness test – this machine determines the ability of the mattress comfort layer to withstand stress. |
| |
Air Flow Test
Air flow test – the machine measure the porosity of the cell structure to determine the ventilation. SweetDream Rubbery-Tech™ has been proven to have better ventilation compared with ordinary foam. |
Comfort Layer Durability Test
Comfort layer durability test – the comfort layer is repeatedly loaded with a force of 750N at a rate of 70 cycles per minute for 80,000 cycles (which is equivalent to 10 years’ usage) to determine the loss in hardness and thickness. |
Durability Test – Mattress
Mattress durability test – mattress sample is loaded with a force of 1025N at a rate of 160 cycles per minute for 100,000 cycles continuously (which is equivalent to 10 years’ usage) to determine the loss in hardness and thickness |
Hardness Test / Support Factor TestHardness test – the hardness and support factor of the mattress comfort layer can be determined. We are able to develop the body architectural system which promotes better pressure release and spinal care. |
